Radiologic Technologist – CT/X-Ray:

 

Facility: Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital
Service Unit: Northern Cheyenne Service Unit
Location: Crow Agency, Montana 59022
Contract: 3 Months – 1 Year
Positions Available: 2

 Position Overview:

We are seeking 2 experienced Radiologic Technologists with CT experience to support the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit – Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital. The selected technologists will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using both X-Ray and CT equipment and provide quality patient care in a hospital setting.

 

Schedule:

  • Thursday – Sunday
  • 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • No call required
  • Full-time assignment
  • During the day, the technologist will work primarily in either X-Ray or CT.
  • Overnight imaging needs depend on Emergency Department orders.
  • Average workload: approximately 30 imaging studies per day.

Equipment & Systems:

  • CT: Hitachi
  • X-Ray: CoreLabs
  • EMR: RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-Ray and CT examinations according to established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain CT and radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Properly position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Review imaging requests and ensure the appropriate procedures are performed.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in RPMS.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and applicable hospital procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning as required.
  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and safety throughout imaging procedures.
  • Support Emergency Department imaging needs as required.
  • Perform approximately 30 imaging studies per day, depending on patient volume.
  • Work independently when required, with some overlap during daytime hours and shift changes.

CT/X-Ray Coverage:

  • Technologists may be assigned full-time to either CT or X-Ray during the day.
  • Overnight responsibilities are based on Emergency Department imaging orders.
  • Some overlap with other technologists is available during daytime hours and shift changes.
  • No call requirement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Technologist
  • CT experience required
  • RDMS with CT required per facility requirement
  • BLS(AHA) required.
  • Strong experience performing diagnostic X-Ray and CT procedures
  • Ability to operate CT and radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills
  • BLS certification required
  • Real ID required

License:

  • RDMS with CT required per facility requirement
  • BLS(AHA) required.
