Job Summary
Xray Technologist The organization is seeking an experienced Xray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The role involves independently operating complex imaging equipment, assessing physician orders, and ensuring accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Steady 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified. Technologist cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained. 2 years of experience is required. Licenses and Certifications (PA): ARRT Certificate, Basic Life Support (BLS), Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.
- Preferred Qualifications: Diagnostic and Operating Room (C-Arm) experience, ability to work independently.
- Additional Information: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members, effectively communicates instructions to patients, and reviews patient history to ensure optimal imaging results. Properly codes and documents all exams, ensures images are appropriately archived, and maintains compliance with departmental protocols.
