Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Specialist
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on organization, enjoys methodical problem-solving, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone to track down missing information. You will be responsible for navigating both customer-facing portals and our internal systems to bridge the gap between completed field work and final invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Portal Management
Manage the full cycle of AR activities within customer portals and internal databases.
Systematically work through project backlogs to prioritize and close outstanding items.
Identify and escalate "overlooked"jobs to management to ensure timely revenue recognition.
High volume billing and invoicing
Project Documentation & Data Entry
Handle capital project uploads, ensuring all required documentation is completed and submitted according to established guidelines.
Execute structured data entry following detailed, step-by-step PDF instruction manuals.
Maintain high levels of accuracy to ensure internal and external records are perfectly synchronized.
Communication & Coordination
Review technician notes for completeness; proactively reach out to technicians to clarify job details when information is missing.
Collaborate with subcontractors to confirm billing details and resolve discrepancies.
Provide the internal team with organized lists of pending items requiring further action.
