Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $23/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
- Provide timely and effective responses to help desk requests and technical support issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users
- Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals for new and existing employees
- Manage equipment inventory, business applications, and applicable licensing
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology needs, including account provisioning and equipment collection
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification required
- CompTIA Network+ certification required
- One or more years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related role preferred
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and enterprise applications
