Business Automation Technician / Controls Technician $DOE$

Need: 10 - 12 guys

• Position: BAS / Building Automation Systems Technician / Controls Technician
• Experience: Target 5–12 years of BAS/controls experience
• Pay Range: $32–$45/hr, depending on experience
• Duration: Long-term projects / long-term opportunity
• HIGH PRIORITY: Experience with Automated Logic WebCTRL (WebCTRL®)
• Look for candidates who have worked for Automated Logic/Carrier, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, Schneider Electric, or similar building-controls companies.
• Candidate should understand commercial HVAC controls — AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, dampers, valves, sensors, thermostats, etc.
• Should understand DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and be able to work with BAS controllers, sensors and control devices.
• Should understand BACnet; experience with Modbus/LonWorks or other BAS integration protocols is a plus. WebCTRL itself is built around BACnet and can integrate third-party building systems. 
• Should be able to troubleshoot BAS/control systems, identify communication/control issues and diagnose equipment/system problems.
• Ideally able to install/configure controllers, load software, commission systems, set up trends/alarms and verify proper operation. These are core functions in Automated Logic’s own BAS technician roles. 
• Networking knowledge is valuable: TCP/IP, IP addressing and BAS network communications.
• Telecom/low-voltage background can be relevant if you also have actual BAS/controls experience.

• Best candidate: 5–12 years BAS experience + strong HVAC controls knowledge + WebCTRL/Automated Logic experience + BACnet/networking + commissioning/troubleshooting ability.
