Job Description
Night Shift Foam Carousel Operator
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Itawamba County MS area is seeking Foam Operator to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing! This is a direct hire opportunity.
Foam Operator Job Summary:
· Pay: $16.00 per hour
· Shifts Available:
o 2nd shift is Monday- Thursday 6:30pm-5:30am and OT is required on Fri and Sat - this position get a lot of over time must be ok with OT and working every weekend
Qualifications- Operate and monitor automatic and semi-automatic foam carousel equipment.
- Prepare molds by cleaning, inspecting, and applying release agents as needed.
- Accurately measure and mix foam chemicals according to production specifications.
- Load molds and initiate foam production cycles.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
- Remove finished foam products from molds and perform visual inspections.
- Identify defects and report quality concerns to supervisors or quality personnel.
- Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate larger maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety procedures regarding chemical handling, PPE usage, and machine operation.
- Assist with changeovers, setup, and other production activities as assigned.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience operating foam production, molding, or carousel equipment.
- Experience working with polyurethane foam systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, and reach regularly.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and production chemicals.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Large manufacturing facility with automated production equipment.
- Fast-paced environment requiring attention to safety and productivity.
- Exposure to foam chemicals, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production demands.
