Fiberglass Roller: SIGN ON BONUS- $500

(Houston, TX): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Fiberglass Roller to apply liquid resin and catalyst to fiberglass molds, using rollers to eliminate air bubbles and ensure proper saturation. The Fiberglass Roller will laminate layers to achieve the desired thickness while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties:
• Apply resin and fiberglass to molds using rollers to remove air bubbles and smooth seams.
• Mix catalysts into resins and apply them to fiberglass mats.
• Inspect finished parts for air pockets, bubbles, and structural defects.
• Cut excess fiberglass, trim, and finish parts using hand and power tools.
• Follow proper procedures for chemical handling and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements/Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fiberglass layup and laminating techniques.
• Ability to accurately measure materials and components.
• Ability to use specialty hand and electric tools.
• Ability to follow safety standards and chemical handling procedures.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment, including a respirator when necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Must be able to perform repetitive manufacturing and fiberglass-handling tasks.
• Must follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling requirements and PPE guidelines.
