Forklift Operator - Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate plays a critical role in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system within a medium-sized team of 6-15 members. This position involves operating forklifts, handling inventory cycle counts, and ensuring proper staging and labeling of products to support various departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift to move and stage products.
• Perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Stage product for departmental use and ensure timely availability.
• Repalletize and relabel pallets as needed for organization and accuracy.
• Assist with organizing storage and work areas to improve efficiency.
• Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to manage inventory flow.
• Perform basic math calculations to support inventory tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator with current sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience in forklift operation and inventory control methods.
