Forklift Operator 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 /hour
Schedule:

• 1st shift- Mon-Fri 6am-3pm
• 2nd Shift- Mon- Fri 2pm-10pm
  Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

A local company is looking for dependable Forklift Operators to join its team. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking for consistent hours and the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team. Permanent position includes benefits and other perks.

This position involves general warehouse work, order picking, material handling, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift Load and Unload Material
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Perform general warehouse and material handling duties.
• Read and follow pick sheets and work instructions.
• Move and organize products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the warehouse team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• This company will train associates on the forklift

Requirements

• Prior Forklift Operating Experience
• Ability to speak and read English as required to understand work instructions and safety information.
• General warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and remain active throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse that can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Must meet required pre-employment screening criteria

Preferred Experience

• Forklift Operation
• Warehouse order picking.
• Reading pick sheets.
