Physician Assistant (PA) Nephrology Private Practice

Location: San Jose, CA (Silicon Valley)

Position Type: Full-Time (Flexible Scheduling Available)

Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 / year (Commensurate with experience)

About the Role

An established, patient-centered private nephrology practice in the heart of San Jose, CA is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative medical team.

Prior Nephrology experience is preferred, but NOT required—we are willing to train the right candidate!

In this role, you will work alongside experienced nephrologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams to manage patients across outpatient clinics and routine dialysis clinic rounding.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient clinic evaluations and provide ongoing management for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), hypertension, and related conditions.
• Perform routine rounds and patient evaluations at affiliated outpatient dialysis centers.
• Collaborate closely with supervising nephrologists on complex patient treatment plans.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for comprehensive patient documentation.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) in California.
• Board Certified by NCCPA.
• Active CA DEA license (or eligible to obtain).
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• New Graduates and experienced PAs looking to transition into Nephrology are encouraged to apply!
