Handform Technician

Pay Rate/Range: $24-30/hr.

Description: Forms and shapes steel, titanium, and aluminum materials to engineering drawing specifications using hand tools, forming equipment, templates, and precision measuring instruments. Responsible for accurately forming parts, inspecting work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, fixtures, and other measuring equipment, and maintaining quality throughout the process. Must understand material types, tempers, gauges, surface preparation, heat-treat conditions, and forming requirements. Requires strong attention to detail, good hand skills, basic math and tool knowledge, the ability to read and follow instructions, communicate effectively with coworkers, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and consistently follow PPE and safety requirements. This is a long term opportunity in a climate controlled manufacturing environment!

Job Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of handforming or similar manufacturing experience is preferred. High school diploma or GED is required.

Job Type:  Contract-to-Hire

Shift/Schedule:  1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available
