NOW HIRING: CNC Mill Operator

Looking for a stable machining position with a 3-day weekend? We are hiring an experienced CNC Mill Operator to join our night shift team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing quality parts, maintaining tight tolerances, and keeping production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Make tool and wear offsets to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust processes as needed.
• Replace tooling and inserts as required.
• Maintain production records and inspection documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC mills in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform part inspections independently.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic understanding of tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently on night shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine setups and fixture changes.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and basic program editing.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and machining best practices.
• Vocational or technical training in machining or manufacturing.
