Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is based in Eureka, California. This role involves performing coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia diagnostic and interventional procedures within an acute care hospital. The technologist will support the lab's daily caseload and contribute to patient care excellence.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), fluoroscopy permit, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); willingness to consider candidates with pending fluoroscopy permits.
  • Shift and Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid angiography, carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, chest tube placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, dialysis graft procedures, electrophysiology lab procedures, embolization, endovascular interventions, equipment setup, gastroenterology procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, pacemaker insertion and programming, interventional radiology, sterile technique maintenance, left and right heart catheterizations, TIPS, and other specialized procedures.
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with the Epic charting system, be willing to work a 10-hour shift, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Travel requirements include working up to 4 days a week, with potential for weekend coverage, and being available to work holidays as needed. References covering the past year are required.
