Job Summary
CT Technologist - CT Monday through Friday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm. This position involves operating all CT scanners within the main imaging department to perform diagnostic exams according to physician orders. The role requires the ability to start IVs, administer medication, and contrast media. Experience with Toshiba equipment is preferred, and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is necessary.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: Current CPR, CT certification, registration with the ARRT, high school diploma or GED, 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, and proven ability to start IVs and administer medication and contrast media.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include operating all CT scanners within the main imaging department for diagnostic exams, following physician orders, and performing necessary patient preparation procedures.
- Preferred qualifications include Toshiba experience.
- The role may require float rotation, depending on operational needs.
- Submission of applicable certification documentation and confirmation of prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities are required prior to placement.
