Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Shift Information
- Shift: 8D
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide support in rehabilitation settings, focusing on improving patients' physical mobility, strength, and overall function. The role requires hands-on interaction with patients under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
Qualifications- Minimum Years of Experience: 0.0
- Active License required
- General Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Rehabilitation Certifications:
- ASHA
- CHT
- ACP Training
The PTA will be expected to:
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Document patient progress and participate in care planning
- Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards of care
- Please note that candidates who have worked in a permanent or PRN capacity within the last year are not eligible for rehire.
- Credentialing requirements include completion of documentation specific to rehabilitation services.
- Equipment will be provided during the interview process.
- Dress code information will be provided on the first day.
- Commitment: 13-26 weeks
