The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will be responsible for assisting in the provision of therapeutic services as directed by the physical therapist to help improve patients' quality of life. The position involves collaboration within a healthcare team, documentation of patient progress, and participation in patient management.
Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
- Document patient care and progress in compliance with established standards.
- Maintain an understanding of patient needs and provide compassionate care.
- Must complete required documentation outside of clearance packet before start of assignment.
- Active license required; compact licenses for WA and AK are accepted.
- The position has a commitment of 13-26 weeks.
- Equipment will be provided during the interview process.
- Weekly billing cycle.
- Parking and dress code information will be provided on the first day.
