Eagle Dining Services
As the Assistant Director of Dining Operations for Statesboro Campus for Eagle Dining Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across residential dining and retail operations, ensuring consistent execution, financial performance, and exceptional student experiences. You will lead managers, supervisors, and culinary teams in daily operations, staffing, service standards, and continuous improvement while driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, brand consistency, and alignment with departmental goals and student expectations.
- Provide strategic leadership for residential dining and retail operations, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, brand standards, and a strong student experience
- Partner with Culinary and Marketing teams to develop menus, promotions, and concepts that increase engagement, traffic, and revenue
- Lead the recruitment, training, coaching, and development of managers and staff while fostering accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
- Oversee budgets, labor, key performance metrics, and operational strategies to improve efficiency, control costs, and maximize financial performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, university standards, and brand requirements while maintaining consistent quality and service across all locations
- Build strong campus and vendor partnerships while identifying staffing needs, developing talent pipelines, and supporting long-term operational growth
Educational Requirements
- Associate's Degree and Seven (7) or more years of related experience in food service operation OR Bachelor's Degree and Five (5) or more years of food management experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education military, health care, and/or related food service operations
Required Experience
- 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Educational Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts, restaurant/hotel management, business administration
$55,126 - $70,307
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
