Salary: $89,440–$124,800 per year

Job Summary

Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluations and individualized therapy to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. The OT will help patients improve functional abilities, independence, mobility, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and daily functioning.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, balance, and other conditions.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment, transfers, safety, and home programs.
• Perform home assessments and recommend appropriate modifications and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and department in-services.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• New graduates are welcome; one year of experience preferred.
• Current Washington State Occupational Therapist license required or must be in the process of obtaining.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-care skills.
