Salary: $120,000 Base Salary + $5,000 Bonus (Higher bonus potential based on experience)
Experience: 2+ Years of Nephrology Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Nephrology Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for patients with kidney disease. This role offers a mix of clinic care, hospital rounding, nephrology consultations, and dialysis management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with CKD, AKI, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions.
• Perform inpatient nephrology consultations and hospital rounding.
• Conduct dialysis rounding and manage acute and chronic dialysis patients.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease, medications, diet, and dialysis.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, physicians, nurses, and dialysis teams.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in quality improvement.
  

Qualifications

• Current state Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA certification.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Valid DEA registration.
• 2+ years of nephrology experience required.
• Inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• BLS/ACLS preferred.
