We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join a manufacturing organization in Lombard, Illinois on a Contract assignment. In this role, you will support a focused compensation project by evaluating pay data, comparing market trends, and helping maintain accurate compensation records. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is comfortable working independently and delivering clear insights within a short-term engagement.

Responsibilities:
• Collect, review, and interpret compensation information for domestic and international employee groups to support pay analysis efforts.
• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking studies using platforms such as Korn Ferry or comparable compensation tools.
• Maintain accurate compensation records by entering, updating, and validating data within the designated system.
• Contribute to salary survey activities by submitting data, reviewing results, and confirming the accuracy of reported information.
• Evaluate external market trends to help assess the competitiveness and consistency of current pay practices.
• Create summary reports and present compensation findings in a clear format for leadership review and decision-making.
• Manage assigned project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are completed within the expected contract period.• At least 2 years of experience in compensation analysis or a human resources role with a strong compensation focus.
• Hands-on experience with compensation benchmarking, market pricing, and salary analysis.
• Proficiency with Korn Ferry or a similar compensation platform is strongly preferred.
• Prior involvement in salary survey participation and compensation data validation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and organize large data sets.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting global compensation programs is an advantage.
• Familiarity with compensation and benefits functions, including benefits analysis or coordination, is a plus.
