Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Community Program Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with a nonprofit charitable organization in Redwood City, CA. This role is ideal for a community-focused professional who is passionate about outreach, language access, family support services, and helping prospective and existing family child care providers connect with valuable resources.
The Community Program Coordinator will support the Family Child Care Provider Pathways program by building relationships in the community, promoting available services, and helping providers access training, support, and program information. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach and engagement to promote family child care provider programs, resources, and services.
- Connect prospective and existing family child care providers with training, support services, and available community resources.
- Provide bilingual English and Chinese language support, including verbal interpretation and translation of routine program materials.
- Attend community events, outreach activities, and provider engagement opportunities throughout the local area.
- Maintain accurate program records through data entry, administrative support, and follow-up communication.
- Communicate professionally with diverse community members, providers, partner organizations, and internal team members.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
