Associate Attorney

We are seeking a Family Law Attorney to provide legal representation and support clients through various family law matters. The role involves legal research, case analysis, client consultation, negotiation, and preparation of legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and representation on Family Law matters.

• Interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.

• Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources.

• Draft motions, briefs, settlement agreements, contracts, and client correspondence.

• Negotiate disputes and communicate with opposing counsel.

• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and legal matters.

• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate professionally with clients and external stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Admission or eligibility for admission to practice law in the relevant state.

• Experience or coursework in Family Law.

• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case law.

• Strong attention to detail and case management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must reside in or near Wilmington, NC, or be willing to relocate at their own expense.

• Remote work flexibility is available.
