Now Hiring: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician

Our client is an end-to-end responsive space transportation company providing launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital vehicles for mission services from LEO to the Moon and beyond. We are looking for passionate, hardworking innovators to join our team in Briggs, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade test stands, launch sites, and fluid/pneumatic systems.

  • Operate and maintain high-pressure, cryogenic, and hydraulic systems, pumps, and pneumatic components.

  • Partner with GSE and test engineers on design feedback, procedure development, and testing optimization.

  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and test operations for components ranging from valves to full rocket stages.

  • Maintain clean, organized test stand areas to deliver ready-for-flight hardware safely.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting mechanical, high-pressure fluid/pneumatic, or heavy equipment systems.

  • 3+ years using power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and adapt rapidly in a high-paced team environment.

  • Preferred: Aerospace/GSE experience, A&P license, crane operations, reading schematics, or familiarity with Swagelok, NPT, and A/N fittings.

ZPMLSTCM salary: $25 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities

 Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade test stand equipment and
instrumentation as required.
 Participate in builds of new site/test stands or implementation of new systems or
capabilities on current stands.
 Provide operability & constructability feedback to GSE engineers during project
design phase.
 Collaborate with test engineers to develop test procedures and document stand
activity.
 Build, develop and maintain appropriate tools, storage, and hardware to support
test and test activities.
 Maintain clean and orderly locations on the test stand to deliver ready-for-flight
hardware.
 Partner with engineering teams to streamline, optimize and improve testing
process.
 Assume test stand operating tasks in parallel and with guidance from test
engineering team.

 Operate and maintain hardware, high pressure systems, cryogenic systems,
hydraulic systems, pumps, and other ancillary equipment including pneumatic
components.

The essential functions of this role include:
