Kelly Services is hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for a direct-hire opportunity with a premier manufacturer in Waukesha, WI.
If you have a strong quality background, enjoy working with technical specifications, and are comfortable performing both visual and electrical inspections, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled manufacturing environment.

Shift Premium: +$2.00/hour
Effective Hourly Rate: $36.13/hour
Available Shifts:
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Sunday–Thursday schedule
$36.13/hour including shift premium
Direct-hire opportunity
Choice of 2nd or 3rd shift
Hands-on quality role with both visual and electrical testing
Work with large, highly engineered electrical equipment

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for making sure products meet engineering requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
Your day may include:
Performing tollgate inspections throughout the manufacturing process
Conducting visual and dimensional inspections
Verifying product conformance to customer requirements
Performing electrical tests such as:
Ratio testing
High-potential testing
Megger testing
Reviewing inspection results and identifying nonconforming conditions
Auditing manufacturing documentation and processes
Verifying that work is being completed according to engineering specifications
Reviewing drawings, technical documentation, and customer requirements
Working with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns
Supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
Maintaining accurate inspection and quality records
This could be a strong fit if you have experience in:
Quality inspection
Electrical testing
Transformer manufacturing
Electrical equipment manufacturing
Industrial manufacturing
Technical quality control
Final inspection or in-process inspection
We're especially interested in candidates who:
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Are comfortable interpreting engineering requirements and technical specifications
Have experience performing visual and dimensional inspections
Can communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams
Are detail-oriented and confident identifying quality concerns
Are comfortable documenting inspection results accurately
5+ years of related transformer or technical manufacturing experience preferred
High school diploma or GED required
2-year technical degree in an engineering-related field preferred
ASQ Quality Technician certification is a plus
Experience with electrical testing such as high-pot, megger, or ratio testing is highly desirable
