Job Title: Hi-Temp Floor OperatorJob Description

As a Hi-Temp Floor Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accountability, performing cycle counts, and ensuring quality inspections. You will operate various warehouse equipment and support daily and weekly logistics operations, contributing to the smooth running of our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory accountability and perform monthly cycle counts.
  • Conduct spot checks to resolve discrepancies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scrubbers.
  • Load and unload materials using handling equipment.
  • Maintain daily check sheets on equipment accuracy.
  • Support daily and weekly logistics operations, including RFPC Hardware and Production consumables.
  • Address and segregate items requiring quality inspection.
  • Store maintenance spares promptly and manage warehouse transfers in SAP.
  • Ensure timely delivery of torque tubes to WB.
  • Prepare items for Production and Maintenance work orders.
  • Handle shipment requests, including packaging and measurement of items for logistics.

  • Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
  • Attend daily operational meetings and ensure compliance with control procedures.
  • Assist with material movement requests and waste stream management.
  • Perform related duties as required.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing or equipment operation.
  • Experience with data entry and computer systems.

Work Environment

Work in a newer building with modern upgrades. The Carbon Department is climate-controlled, though some areas can get hot due to furnaces. The position follows a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, rotating every 8 weeks between day and night shifts. The facility is tobacco-free, emphasizing a clean and organized environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
