Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Valid Special Education Teacher Certification (SPED Cert)
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card)
- Experience working with behavior programs (CPI certification preferred for behavior program role)
- Background with students in the MID cognitive range is a plus
- Ability to provide thoughtful, differentiated instruction and interventions
- Up-to-date resume and preference for desired location(s) required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instructional support to students in self-contained and/or resource classrooms
- Implement evidence-based behavior management and learning strategies
- Collaborate with general education staff, counselors, and families
- Track student progress, complete IEPs, and participate in team meetings
- Foster a classroom environment focused on respect, safety, and learning
