Position Overview\n

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical ICU for a 16-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong recent ICU experience and be comfortable caring for critically ill patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit/COVID ICU setting.

Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
\n
• BLS – Required
\n
• ACLS – Required
\n
• NIHSS – Required
\n
• CCRN – Preferred
\n
• Recent experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit
\n
• Experience with Cerner
\n
• Ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a critical care environment
\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
\n
• Monitor and assess patients for changes in condition
\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders
\n
• Manage complex medical and critical-care patients
\n
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
\n
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner
\n
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards
\n

Holiday Requirements\n

Travel nurses must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays:
