Job Summary:
\n The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This role involves producing diagnostic radiographic examinations, assisting physicians with radiopaque contrast media, performing portable x-ray examinations, and adhering to operational procedures for patient identification and film processing. The technologist will also perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and assisting patients with mobility needs. The position requires adherence to the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies and the ability to modify care based on patient-specific needs.

Required Qualifications:
\n - 1-2 years of experience
\n - High school diploma or equivalent
\n - Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
\n - Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements
\n - New Jersey State License
\n - Ability to meet National Registry requirements and pass the examination
\n - AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:
\n - 3 years of experience

Required Hard Skills:
\n - Experience with manifold system (required for work in the cath lab)
\n - Scrub assist
\n - Table-side assistance
