American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring EPIC and neonatal experience along with Oregon RCP licensure.

- Critical access medical center setting \n
- Respiratory/Pulmonary department providing basic and critical respiratory care services \n
- Adult and geriatric patient population with respiratory disease \n
- Uses EPIC EMR - experience required \n
- Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM \n
- \n
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC \n
- Oregon State Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic (RT-P) license required - license required if applicable \n
- BLS certification required \n
- ACLS certification required \n
- NRP certification preferred, neonatal experience required \n
- PALS certification preferred \n
- Bachelor's degree preferred \n
- Three years' technical experience preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months \n
- EPIC experience must be documented in employment history \n

- Assess and document appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy for patients \n
- Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy while maintaining charts \n
- Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order \n
- Provide care to ventilator patients \n
- Assist in department record keeping and participate in training and supervision of new employees \n
- Document care given and generate necessary charge and record documentation \n
- Ability to work independently as well as maintain supervision over others as delegated \n
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates are the same as travel rates \n
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered \n
- Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered \n
