Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience
License: Oklahoma or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC and strokes Certificates
W. W. Hastings Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, ranging from minor medical conditions and injuries to accidents, trauma, and other acute or life-threatening situations.
\nThe Emergency Department operates 24/7 and is part of a hospital providing emergency, ICU, step-down, medical-surgical, pediatric, OB/newborn, surgical, and other acute-care services.
Key Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognize and interpret serious or rapidly changing situations, prioritize care, and take immediate appropriate action. \n
- Initiate appropriate emergency interventions when a physician is not immediately available. \n
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including medical emergencies, injuries, accidents, and trauma. \n
- Operate and monitor emergency and specialized equipment, including:\n
- \n
- Infusion pumps \n
- Pulse oximeters \n
- Ventilators \n
- Cardiac monitors \n
- Other specialized emergency-care equipment \n
\n - Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory treatments, mechanical ventilation, and other therapeutic interventions as ordered. \n
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and promptly identify changes in clinical status. \n
- Accurately document patient assessments, nursing interventions, treatments, and outcomes. \n
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. \n
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. \n
- Assign patient-care responsibilities to team members based on their skills, experience, and abilities. \n
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment and help ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized clinical environment. \n
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. \n
- \n
- Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license. \n
- Minimum 3 years of professional RN experience. \n
- Previous Emergency Department/ER experience required. \n

- Stokes Certificate must \n
