American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an outpatient radiology setting requiring ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and 2+ years of experience.

- Outpatient radiology setting performing routine diagnostic imaging \n
- Adult and pediatric outpatient populations, 1:1 patient ratio \n
- Studies include MRI of the body, MSK, neuro, and spine; no cardiac imaging \n
- Uses Fuji Oasis 1.2T Open MRI unit and PACS \n
- Charting via IntelliSpace/Medinformatics \n
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM \n
- No call requirements \n

- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required \n
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required; BLS preferred \n
- Washington state license required if applicable \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Community hospital experience preferred \n
- Must be able to work independently and make clinical decisions in a routine outpatient setting \n
- Prior travel experience required \n
- Skills in abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, and MSK MRI imaging \n
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts \n
- Proficiency in gradient echo, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted imaging, and image post-processing techniques \n

- Perform diagnostic MRI exams across body, MSK, neuro, and spine regions using standard imaging protocols \n
- Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally needed \n
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this role \n
- Previous PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least one year before returning as a traveler \n
- Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration \n
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted \n
- RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with no additional time off approved after signing \n
- Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if a Washington license is still in process \n
