American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift assignment requiring a NE or compact RN license and prior ER experience.

- Emergency Department setting serving a population of approximately 10,000 people \n
- Department operates 24/7 with a physician on duty at all times \n
- Provides direct care to acutely and critically ill patients \n
- Night shift schedule \n
- \n
- Active NE or compact RN license required \n
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required \n
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required \n
- ER experience preferred \n
- Current certifications required or willing to obtain: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, CPR \n
- Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs and assist with patient transfers \n
- Strong manual dexterity and range of motion required for extended standing, walking, and sitting \n

- Assess and triage ER patients based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint \n
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other physician-directed treatments \n
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment \n
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care \n
- Provide patient education as prescribed by physician \n
- Perform wound cleaning and bandaging \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care \n
- Respect and uphold tribal and cultural traditions and practices \n
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times \n
