Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift OB RN with at least one year of acute care experience and BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications for a 13-week assignment.

• Work in the OB unit covering antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
\n
• Night shift schedule

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (Maine or compact) currently in hand
\n
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience
\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications
\n
• Effective written and oral communication skills
\n
• Basic computer skills
\n

Additional Information\n

• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned OB patients under charge nurse supervision
\n
• Manage unit supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and staff
\n
• Complete general nursing and unit-specific orientation
\n
• Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
\n
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
