Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of acute care experience and Epic proficiency.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the PACU/PreOp unit of a hospital setting
\n
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3 days per week
\n
• Call responsibilities required one night per week and weekends
\n
• Uses Epic EMR system
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
\n
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
\n
• PACU RN experience required
\n
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate clinical responses
\n
• Provide patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
\n
• Mentor and precept staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
