Travel Registered Nurse opportunity in a rural Critical Access hospital working across the ER, MedSurg, and Swing Bed Unit.
\nPosition Details:
\n- \n
- π₯ 25-bed facility \n
- π©ββοΈ 2+ years of RN experience required \n
- βοΈ Previous travel experience not required \n
- π EPIC EMR \n
- π₯ 1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio \n
- π€ Team nursing model \n
- β° 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AMβ7:15 PM or 6:45 PMβ7:15 AM \n
- π Every other weekend \n
- π Alternating/as-scheduled holidays, typically every other holiday \n
- π« No call or standby \n
- π©ββοΈ Charge nurse on every shift \n
- π©Ί CNAs/nurse aides available each shift \n
- π« CPAP experience \n
- π RNs must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips \n
- π Floating: ER / MedSurg support \n
- π Scrubs required; no specific color \n
- π 3 shifts of department-specific orientation \n
- No clinical involvement required \n
Patient Population:

- Geriatric patients \n
- Dementia and stroke \n
- Diabetes \n
- Post-surgical/general rehabilitation \n
- Restorative care following acute illness \n
- Wound care \n
- IV medications and fluids \n
- Blood administration \n
- COVID \n
- Exacerbations of chronic illnesses \n
- Initial trauma care in the ER \n
Must-Have Skills:
\n- \n
- Geriatric patient care \n
- Dementia experience \n
- Stroke experience \n
- Skin/wound care \n
- Ability to titrate drips, including electrolytes and hypertensive medications \n
- IV antibiotics and blood transfusion experience \n
Required Certifications:
\n- \n
- BLS \n
- ACLS \n
- PALS \n
- TNCC \n
Scheduling: Team scheduling is used. Block scheduling may be possible with advance request.

- 50-mile radius rule applies. \n
- Candidates cannot currently be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility affiliated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. \n
- All RTO must be submitted upfront. Up to 7 days of RTO is permitted for a 13-week contract. \n
- Additional RTO will not be approved after submission. \n
