American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Charge role requiring prior charge nursing and travel nursing experience.
Details\n- \n
- Work in a Medical Surgical Unit caring for Med/Surg and Med-Tele patients \n
- 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A), 36 hours per week \n
- Serve as Charge RN for the majority of shifts \n
- EMR: Cerner; medication dispensing via Pyxis \n
- Floating may be required depending on unit needs \n
- \n
- Active RN license (Compact or Maine) \n
- BLS and ACLS certification required \n
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg or related specialty \n
- Prior Charge RN experience required \n
- Previous travel nursing experience required \n
- Critical access hospital background preferred \n
- \n
- Provide leadership and oversight as Charge RN for most shifts \n
- Orientation period of 1-2 shifts \n
- Overtime opportunities may be available but not guaranteed each week \n
- RTO requests subject to manager approval \n
- Any scrub color permitted \n
- Free on-site parking provided \n
- Candidates must reside 100+ miles south or southwest of the facility to be eligible \n
- Candidates who previously worked in a permanent capacity at any hospital within the same health system are not eligible \n
- First-time travelers may be considered based on interview \n
- Flu vaccination required for clearance, with medical exemptions only accepted \n
