Hospice Aide (CNA) - Laguna Rainbow Care Center

About the Role
As a Certified Nurse Assistant with Corus Health in Albuquerque, you'll provide hands-on hospice care to residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, bringing dignity, comfort, and steady support to patients and families during one of life's most meaningful chapters. This role is a great fit for CNAs who live near Laguna Rainbow and want consistent, community-based work close to home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services in accordance with each patient's plan of care, under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition or care needs to supervising staff
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in the EMR
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

• Current certification as a Nurse Aide in the state of New Mexico
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program
• At least one year of experience preferred; hospice or home health experience a plus
• Someone who brings compassion, patience, and steadiness to every interaction
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• CNAs living near Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center are especially encouraged to apply
