The Spine Institute in Murray, UT is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented radiologic technologist to support patient care in a part-time (Tuesday only) and PRN capacity. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment and is able to adapt to changing patient volumes and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with provider orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and promoting comfort and safety.
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality images while minimizing repeat exposures.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times.
  • Accurately document imaging exams and maintain patient records in the appropriate systems.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.
  • Monitor supply levels and report equipment or workflow concerns as needed.
  • Support a positive patient experience through professional communication and compassionate care.
Qualifications
  • Current certification or licensure as a radiologic technologist per Utah State law.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and imaging principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
  • Flexibility to work part-time and PRN shifts based on departmental needs.
