The Shop Assistant will be responsible for:

Fabrication.

Welding.

Panel Wiring/Building.

Terminations.

Reading Drawings.

lifting up to 45lb.

Helping organize and maintain a clean shop.

Performing general Deliveries and Errands.

Maintaining Shop equipment as needed.

Using computers to generate reports, creating/maintaining, and entering information into office databases.

Our Ideal shop assistant has the following skills/qualities/experience:

Experience working for a start-up business, preferably oil field related.

Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.

Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.

Excellent computer skills, especially typing.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong time management and organization skills

Dependable/Reliable-Our ideal candidate believes that Early = on time and On Time = Late

Required:

1-5 Years experience as a Shop Hand or in related field

High school diploma or associate’s degree

Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening

Must have a valid driver license

Must be able to lift up to 45lbs and handle parts.

Willing to work overtime for unexpected weekends or evenings, if needed.
