Shipping and Assembly Operator 2nd Shift

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping & Assembly Operator, for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location, in Richmond, IN to support our power unit product. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high-quality elevator components. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Loading & unloading of trucks

• Quickly and efficiently assemble product

• Use hand tools to complete assembly of assigned product

• Test assemblies to ensure quality and functionality

• Package small parcel and freight items for shipments

• Assist with inventory management

• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area

• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift operation experience preferred

• Shipping/loading freight experience preferred

• Requires exercising good judgment

• Requires attention to detail

• Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds

• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
