Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments to identify patient needs
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that empower patients to improve communication and swallowing function
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions based on evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to support progress
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Alabama SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clinical problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
  • Patient evaluation and treatment planning
  • Clinical documentation and compliance
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Clinical problem-solving and critical thinking
