Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations, including patient screening, positioning, and safety monitoring, to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate Philips MRI systems, adjust sequences, and optimize imaging protocols while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and MRI safety procedures; screen for contraindications and manage contrast administration per protocol.
- Document imaging results and patient information in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate findings with the radiology team as required.
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff; maintain accuracy in scheduling, patient flow, and quality assurance standards.
- Remain flexible with scheduling, including availability for 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day) and weekends as needed; no rigid block scheduling.

Requirements
- Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT license; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification
- Philips MRI system experience is required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- MR imaging must be performed in a graduate-level or teaching-hospital environment
- Availability to work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
