Automotive Dealership Accounts Payable/Receivable ClerkExperience is Required
A high-end automotive dealership in the Huntersville–Mooresville area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who understands the fast-paced environment of an automotive dealership and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
The Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have prior automotive dealership accounting experience and be comfortable managing daily A/P and A/R responsibilities while working closely with dealership management and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end accounting procedures
- Review invoices, statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy
- Post payments, receipts, and other financial transactions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of accounting documents
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments as needed
- Assist with resolving discrepancies and researching account balances
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and dealership information
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership Accounts Payable/Receivable experience required
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership/accounting software
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
