Must be able to see all ages.
18-24 pts a day
If Family Practice trained:
This would be for 40 hrs shift between the hours of 7am-5:30pm during the Mon-Fri work week. maybe schedule of 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days.
Here are some specifics:
· Seeking a physician available to start upon successful completion of the credentialling process, to fill a 90-day placement with possibility of extensions and full-time employment within our health system.
· DO or MD, with Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or possible Emergency Medicine training/experience.
· Experience working in a tribal health or rural health setting is a plus but not required.
· This would be for 40 hours a week, working a regularly scheduled shift between the hours o Depending on the shift Dr. Egleston feels most appropriate, options could include either a schedule of 4-10 hour days or 5-f 7am-5:30pm during the Mon-Fri work week. 8 hour days.
· The patient load, after some orientation, would be ramped up to 18-24 scheduled patient appointments a day.
· Support staff includes a dedicated LPN for rooming, Clinical Assistant and RN for general referral management, as well as Nursing Case Managers for patients being treated for chronic care needs such as diabetes, women's health and cancer care.
Additional information:
o Our providers have access to utilize a Digital Clinical Assistant, that is embedded in the EMR for assistance with charting. Since its implementation we have received very positive feedback from our Providers.
Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification, or having met certifying board requirements to be eligible for examination in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
OR
• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA- accredited post-graduate training program in family practice.
If Internal Medicine trained, then:
• Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
OR
• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA- accredited post-graduate training program in internal medicine.
For either training:
· Ability to manage care for adult and pediatric patients in a primary care clinic
· 15-20+ average patients daily for routine and drop-in/acute care
· May include some additional time for completion of medical records, training and staff meetings
· Cerner experience preferred, but not required
· BLS, ACLS and PALS required
M-F, 8a-5p
Must take lunch. NO OT. No call. No float. Must be able to work independently and must be flexible
