  • Specialty Backup Available: OB Hospitalist, EM
  • Support Staff: 2-3 RNs
    • APPs & Sonographer - 18 hrs/day
    • Tech - 12 hrs/day
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Required
    • Low & High risk pregnancy
    • FHR interpretation
    • OB Ultrasounds
    • Amniocentesis
    • Routine & Complicated delivery
    • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
    • Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE
  • Licenses: Licensed in MO or IMLC
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat pregnant patients up to 6 weeks postpartum presenting to the OB ED
  • Manage low and high-risk pregnancies including FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds
  • Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
  • Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and VBACs
  • Collaborate with APP support staff, RNs, and sonographers to provide comprehensive care
