What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a key role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing hands-on support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. - Assisting with medication management and ensuring participants’ health and safety. - Offering companionship and emotional support to build meaningful relationships. - Supporting participants with transportation needs, including trips to appointments or community activities. - Encouraging community involvement and helping participants engage in social and recreational opportunities. - Promoting independence by respecting individual choices and fostering confidence in their abilities.
