About the Role
Sociable Society Talent is a recruiting agency that helps companies who are seeking talent to hire candidates to choose from our current stable of pre-qualified candidates. We are seeking highly organized, professional, and energetic Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s to join our Candidate Intelligence Team.
This is not a traditional recruiter or Talent Agent position.
Our Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s work with an existing database of professionals who have already been identified by Sociable Society Talent. You will be provided with candidate contact information, calling tools, qualification criteria, and processes.
Your responsibility is straightforward:
Contact → Qualify → Categorize → Placement Ready
The purpose of the Candidate Intelligence Team is to transform our existing candidate database into accurate, organized, placement-ready talent pools that our Talent Agents can quickly match with hiring opportunities across the country.
What You'll Do
Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s are expected to complete approximately 75–100 outbound candidate calls per day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting candidates from lead and contact lists provided by Sociable Society Talent
- Speaking directly with professionals about their current career interests
- Identifying the cities and states where candidates are interested in working
- Determining whether candidates are open to relocation
- Determining acceptable commute radius and geographic preferences
- Confirming professional credentials and licensing
- Identifying years of professional experience
- Confirming specialty, practice area, or professional concentration
- Discussing compensation expectations
- Confirming current employment status
- Determining availability for interviews and potential career changes
- Verifying candidate phone numbers and email addresses
- Confirming permission to contact candidates regarding relevant career opportunities
- Entering clear, detailed, and accurate qualification notes into our system
- Categorizing candidates so they can easily be matched with current and future opportunities
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and following established qualification procedures

Active professional licenses, bar admissions, CPA credentials, certifications, or other applicable professional credentials.
Experience
Years of experience and overall professional background.

Professionals You Will Contact (We provide the list)
Our Candidate Intelligence Team works across several professional industries and we provide the contacts, including:
- Dentists and dental professionals
- Attorneys and legal professionals
- Accountants, CPAs, tax and finance professionals
- Physical Therapists and rehabilitation professionals
- Other healthcare and professional-service candidates
You are NOT responsible for finding these candidates from scratch. Candidate lists and contacts are provided to you.
Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES) vs. Talent Agent
It is important to understand the distinction between these positions.
Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s focus on:
Contact → Qualify → Categorize → Placement Ready
Once a candidate has been properly qualified and categorized, our Talent Agents can concentrate on the later stages of the recruiting process, including:
Find candidates→ Matching → Presenting → Interviewing → Negotiating → Closing Placements
You are helping build the intelligence and organization that allows our Talent Agents to work faster and make better candidate-to-employer matches.
Performance Expectations
This is a high-volume outbound calling position.
Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s should be comfortable completing approximately 75–100 outbound calls per working day while maintaining professional communication and accurate documentation.
Success is not measured by simply dialing numbers. We are looking for representatives who can consistently turn conversations into complete, accurate, placement-ready candidate profiles.
Accuracy and quality matter.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES) is:
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
- Confident speaking with working professionals
- Friendly and conversational on the phone
- Highly organized
- Detail-oriented
- Able to follow scripts and qualification procedures
- Comfortable entering detailed notes into an ATS/CRM
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Consistent and dependable
- Comfortable working toward daily activity and productivity expectations
- Able to ask direct qualification questions without making conversations feel robotic
- Capable of managing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, call centers, appointment setting, customer service, lead qualification, inside sales, or candidate sourcing is helpful but not required.
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position.
Candidate Engagement Specialist (CES)s work remotely while communicating with candidates by phone and updating candidate information within Sociable Society Talent's systems.
Because this is a remote role, team members must be capable of working independently, maintaining productivity, communicating consistently with management, and completing candidate records accurately.
The Mission
The Candidate Intelligence Team serves as the information engine behind Sociable Society Talent's recruiting operation.
Every conversation should move a candidate through the following process:
Contact → Qualify → Categorize → Placement Ready
Your work allows our Talent Agents to spend more of their time matching the right professionals with the right organizations, coordinating interviews, negotiating opportunities, and successfully closing placements.
If you're comfortable on the phone, enjoy speaking with professionals, can follow a structured process, and thrive in a high-volume remote environment, we'd like to hear from you.
