Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working, and motivated Paint Prep Cleaner / Assembler / General Labor team member to support production operations in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, safety-conscious, and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple departments while maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare parts and components for painting by cleaning, grinding, deburring, and performing other surface preparation tasks.
Assemble components according to shop drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
Read and interpret shop drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
accurately.
Safely operate hand and power tools, including hand grinders, socket wrenches, and other assembly equipment.
Maintain a consistent work pace while producing quality components accurately and efficiently.
Assist in multiple departments as production needs require.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors to ensure
smooth workflow.
Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and a professional attitude in daily work activities.
Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a positive team
environment.

Qualifications
Reliable, dependable, and committed to excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and assembly instructions.
Experience using power tools and hand tools, including hand grinders and socket wrenches.
Familiarity with operating a sit-down forklift is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and willing to move between departments as business needs change.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and
leadership.
