Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• Pay rate: $25.01 per hour

Pharmacy Technician Responsiblities:

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications under supervision.
• Enter prescription data into the computer system to facilitate billing and reimbursement processes.
• Prepackage medication according to standards and regulations, supporting the final review process.
• Participate in inventory management activities, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining accurate records of lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, ensuring equipment calibration and safety checks.
• Support in packing, loading, unloading, and stocking supplies for distribution to patients.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of medications and supplies to ensure customer satisfaction.

Pharmacy Technician QUALIFICATIONS:

***Critical Information:***

• Shift: 11:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
• Work Environment: Onsite
• Compliance: Adherence to pharmacy regulations and safety standards

***Education/Licenses Needed:***

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (preferred)
• Certified pharmacy technician license, if required by state regulations
• Experience in warehousing or distribution inventory management (preferred)
