Sheet Metal Fabricator

Work Schedule: Full-Time M-F  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Fabricate rectangular HVAC ductwork and fittings from shop drawings and field measurements.
• Measure, lay out, cut, bend, assemble, and seal sheet metal duct and fittings.
• Operate shop equipment including brake, Pittsburgh machine, and other fabrication tools.
• Fabricate transitions, offsets, elbows, plenums, reducers, and other custom fittings.
• Read and understand duct drawings, dimensions, and fabrication details.
• Maintain accurate material usage and minimize scrap and waste.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager and field crews to ensure ductwork is fabricated correctly and ready when needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience required.
• Commercial HVAC duct fabrication experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic shop math.
• Knowledge of sheet metal gauges, duct construction, fittings, and fabrication methods.
• Experience operating standard sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision.
• Dependable, organized, safe-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Must take pride in producing clean, accurate, quality work.
